They should be charged with filling a false report. They KNEW is was a stupid garage door rope. Let THEM drain their bank accounts on legal defense.

Why they went to the FBI, and not local police.

Would that be lying to an FBI agent? You can’t be arrested for that, can you? You would never get prosecuted, right?

"This case is about lying...lying to the FBI..."

-- Words uttered by the great James Comey (before locking Martha Stuart in a cage on the charge of "lying to the FBI")

Whenever someone says we are investigating x, y, z, that you believe has zero to do with you, that you have no useful information, still ask for legal representation to speak for you.

If they ask you if your car is the V-8 model when you know it is the wimpy 4 cylinder and you lie and say, "Yeah it has a Hemi." They can then charge you with the crime of lying to investigators, a big bad felony.

They were not investigating a crime, they were investigating YOU.

All Law Enforcement to the wealthy and powerful : "Show me the person you want destroyed and I will bring you a felony to prosecute."

Not by any reasonable prosecutor. It's my understanding they would never take the case.
