At this point, it's not uncalled for to start taking all claims of overt racism with healthy skepticism. Their so-called-fight is against the supposed subtle and inherent racism that all white people have. That deserves to be treated with as much validity as all conservatives are nazis. They just make these terms meaningless by screaming them over and over in our faces, and broadly applying them to make sense of their oppressed worldview.
I'm not saying economic factors aren't at play. I'm just saying poor communities have been established purposefully without regard to skintone. And now we're all poor, arguing about skintone. Nobody thinks we're barking up the wrong tree?
