We aren’t dealing with people that have gone astray here. We are dealing with people that have chosen to act on their idiocy, and their actions have negative effects on the rest of us. For example, my office is located at ground zero of where the Seattle riots began. One week after we were given the go ahead to reopen from the state covid lockdown and we were desperately trying to get the business back on track as best we could, these idiots managed to get my office closed down for another week because our boss was concerned for our safety. And to this day, the aftermath from weeks ago is still visible at ground level.

So no, I will not turn the other cheek for these thugs, and not least of which because I’m not even Christian so I dont need to. What I need is our city leaders to take appropriate action, and that wont happen until they feel just as threatened as the rest of us productive citizens and or have to deal with the consequences of their coddling of these little thugs.
