That would be a mistake. Trump doesn’t need to energize his base. They are rock solid, and have been since day one. Right now the batshit insane left is helping trump with their insanity by cutting their own throats with many democrats. I saw the same thing happen during Reagan’s first election and term in office, though to a much lesser degree, and it resulted in a 49 state landslide in his second election. I don’t think a 49 state landslide is possible now, but if we stand aside while democrats destroy themselves, I do think we could see a landslide of something around 43 or 44 states, maybe even a little more.
