I can sympathize with some people who might find themselves offended by some of these monuments. This Lincoln one in particular can be interpreted in some interesting ways, for sure. If they solicited for a monument that they found more respectful, but still honored the legacy of the great President Lincoln, I'd probably be able to get behind the idea. But, since their platform is simply "RACIST!!!! TEAR IT DOWN!!!!," they'll never have my support.
