The far left on any platform on the internet seema incapable of discussing why they believe what they believe. Why is trump derangement so prevalent? More people seem to hate trump more than they hated Bush. I was a hardcore Republican in my younger days and then become independent when bush and romney destroyed the image of a Republican. Bush waged an unlawful war and why hasnt the government gone after him?

Yes, so sad. People watch those shows and think they are informed. John Oliver's show is a lesson in derisive brainwashing. He has a formula and it never varies.
Part of the reason is that the news has stopped reporting the news and is instead managing the delicate psychology of their viewers.
Another part of the reason is that some are addicted to Twitter or Facebook, and algorithms used to select news puts users in silos. There are many mentally ill people on Twitter and they set the tone there.
A third reason could be the spoiled brat problem. A lot of kids and adults these days are enabled by parents and tech companies like Twitter. These brats grow up learning how to use what power they have to complain and get attention.
"The government" hasn't gone after Bush because the ones in charge behind the scenes were all for what Bush was doing. I still am unsure whether Bush fully understood what was going on or not, but he should have. I saw what was going on and I was just a lowly college freshman with a magical thing called the internet.
It is an illusion that "more people hate Trump" than hated Bush. Trump is an extremely popular President. The powers that be don't want him to be, so they tip every scale they can in favor of painting that image. Sometimes they color dishonestly, but many times they flat out lie. Buckle up when POTUS wins a 2nd term... the gloves are off.
The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were not unlawful, but if it wasn't Trump it would have been Cruz experiancing this insanity.
Edit: I'm sorry. I do not wanna cross swords, but I just do not believe:
I. Bush lied and people died because WMD's were not found in Iraq.
II. Al Quada is not pure evil.
III. Bush did 9/11 and it was an inside job.
IV. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan wars were to steal oil.
V. America was the baddies.
I can understand legitimate grievances about George W. Bush, but I will never forget.

Because they all have a better than thou moral superiority complex which makes them smug, condescending and patronizing towards opposing views.
