I originally did it because I was tired of crybaby or criminal athletes who set poor examples and were never held accountable for their actions, but today it's the leagues, not just the athletes who have shown themselves to be worthless.
I'm glad I have not been supporting them, and I hope many more Americans do the same.
I was never into being a spectator of sports. Even when my fantasy card game was on ESPN I didn't bother to watch. The fundamental enjoyment of sports, to me, is in the play; the interaction and participation with other people through teamwork or competition.
