I originally did it because I was tired of crybaby or criminal athletes who set poor examples and were never held accountable for their actions, but today it's the leagues, not just the athletes who have shown themselves to be worthless.

I'm glad I have not been supporting them, and I hope many more Americans do the same.

I've been watching less and less. I watched it a lot in the 80s & 90s, I liked the team aspect, especially when I was playing them too. In the 2000s I still watched, almost out of inertia, although I still enjoyed a lot of it. The past 5-10 years though:

  • NBA isn't basketball anymore. There's a happy-medium between the 80-73 rock fights, and today's everyone spam 3s strategy that's boring as fuck.
  • NFL I still remember seeing Javon Belcher's Bentley being towed away after he murdered his family and killed himself. The league barely batted an eye at that, and it made me want to vomit. I watched less and less every year, and now, I probably won't watch any after this bullshit.
  • MLB: Game times kill me. I still go to a few games per year since my dad and I like spending time together at them. I use it as background noise while doing chores as well. But if they start with Leftist shit then I'm out.
  • NHL: I actually watch more now. No preaching, the game still resembles the game I remember. Games don't take 4 hours.
  • NASCAR: My dad I used to watch it when I was younger, I still watch it on & off, and had actually been watching more last season, again as background noise like MLB while doing chores or whatever, and then pay attention for the last 25 laps or so. Now? Ehhhhhhhh. May be done with it too.
