And then these aholes that run these sporting organisations will wonder why people are tuning out.

For the longest time, sports like movies, was a way for people to sit back and unwind, and not have to deal with what was going on in the world.

Yet now, everything is being politicized including sports. I think people will just tune out on mass. I also think cinema movies will tank as well.

They're killing their biggest money makers. I haven't watched pro sports in about 4 years, I watched only a handful of movies in recent years (before phony virus shut-down), I've cut cable etc. Where do they think their payoff comes once they've pissed off and shunned half the audience?

Same here. The small movie theater near me is now "community-run" and is constantly begging for donations and volunteers.

This is from the website for the megaplex theater in a small city nearby: https://amc-theatres-res.cloudinary.com/image/upload/f_auto,fl_lossy,q_auto,w_750/v1/amc-cdn/static/images/promotions/amcclassic_about_promotion_feature.png

I won't watch 95% of if at home for "free", I'm sure not going to pay through the nose for that "experience".
