My online friend whom I know for ages recently casually said that Trump is racist among other negative things. Haven't talked to him for a while because we are both quite busy currently. But I wanted to ask him he thinks that. He is actually quite intelligent and makes a lot of money, but I'd like to poke his brainwash a little... I wonder what points he'd bring up.
He is German btw and probably consumes overwhelmingly left-leaning media. Everything is leftist in Germany. I - as someone who ranges between Libertarianism and Nationalism in his views am in all sorts of opposition to this country. If I wouldn't interact anonymously in the internet and largely in international domains, I might be arrested for "hate speech" - or essentially wrongthink.
They know he's not actually racist, but they know by calling him that it acts as a rallying cry to the left. My boss for example is a pretty smart guy, but he's drunk on the kool-aid and dug in his heels. He's in the process of marrying someone illegal, and apparently before Trump it was a walk in the park, now he's got some extra hoops to jump through and he's furious. He once told a group of us, "now that shitbag is making us get an attorney" or something to that effect. Well she's in her 30's and according to him she "always wanted to get legal but never did". What the fuck, it doesn't take 30 years to get legal. One of my best friends came here when he was 6 months old, by all accounts he's American af, but he still went through the process that deservedly took longer because his parents didn't do it the right way. His family admitted their mistakes, worked hard, got legal, and all got good jobs. I'm so sorry Trump doesn't want a flood of people skipping over those that did it the right way.
This is just a small example of how people easily get enraged. It's never their own fault, it's always someone else's.
Don’t be fooled by people’s ability to make money. It doesn’t mean intelligent. I have several very successful friends who I used to think were very smart... they are not. They are, on the other hand, very good at their respective jobs. Outside of those jobs they are dumb. Orange man bad dumb.
We had a group chat going for a long time and I finally quit it after several of them agreed the White House needs to be infected with china virus. Intelligent people don’t say dumb shit like that.
He is not that type of person. He is actually intelligent as well. It's just that he was bombarded by one-sided propaganda for too long - but he has the capability to think reasonably. Strip away the illusions and misinformation and he's good to go. I don't think he is too attached to his opinions as I am to mine.

What did he say because the racist angle is almost always what I hear.
I usually ask "why?"
No one can give me a racist quote or statement.
Why does a man in the public eye for 30 years suddenly be labeled as racist only after he wins presidency?

If the marriage is a sham whose only purpose is for the woman to 'get legal', report him and her for immigration fraud.

Well that’s excellent. I hope he can be lifted from the fog.
👍👍👍
We haven't had an immigrant caravan in a while or shown kids in cages, could be coming
Oh man I had forgotten about the caravans. There's been so many hoaxes and outrages over the last 4 years it's incredible.
