Really dumb that he's doing this to himself. This was NASCAR's blunder. They're the ones who somehow couldn't figure out what this alleged noose was and blew it up into a gigantic deal involving the FBI.

Bubba didn't even see the garage pull so for him to double down on it is insane. He had a free pass of sorts where he could have said something like "well I was just going off what NASCAR told me blah blah blah." But no, he wants to make it all about him again.
