LOL, the best part is, this is a direct slap in the face to Obama, who requested that Judge Sullivan refuse to accept DoJ request to dismiss.

These people think the justice system is capable of waging genocide against black people but not capable of coercing Flynn into a guilty plea by threatening his son.

I know we have Lawyers on this site. What does this mean, regarding false-statement charges? As opposed to the other charges?

How does this "help Trump" anyway? I know he obviously is happy with this result, because he knows it was all a scam, but was he in some sort of jeopardy if Flynn went down? Maybe just the fact that people would be unwilling to work for him if they think they are going to be railroaded for it? Or are they basically admitting that Flynn was just another scalp? Forgive my ignorance maybe i'm just not thinking clearly today.

It was a hit job that shreds our Bill of Rights, and subverts the Judicial system as a political tool. By the charges being dropped Flynn can now participate in the Trump administration, whereas I believe a pardon would have left him on the sidelines. Pres Trump was not in jeopardy because Flynn refused to manufacture a lie to implicate him in any wrongdoing, which of course neither was Flynn guilty of any either, just coerced into pleading guilty because the DOJ was going to ruin his family if he didn't plead.

It also shows that organised crime against people who work for his administration (and even worse, against their families) purely because of that association with Trump, will not be tolerated. Granted it took almost 4 years to get to this point, but now that boulder is finally pushed up that damn mountainside, its crested the peak.. and is starting to speed downhill.

And at the bottom are Obama, Strzok, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Page, the Ohrs, all the Crowdstrike and Fusion GPS scum, the democrats and their rapist buddies, all the people associated with Mifsud and Halper, the Boies Schiller crowd, the Clinton foundation.. and they are all lined up like bowling pins.

I agree, i probably could've worded this better. For example, yes this shows that political persecution of President Trumps associates might finally be coming to an end (hopefully), but obviously the guy in the screenshot is not saying political persecutions are a good thing even if he might actually think it is, because that just makes him look crazy.

I'm having a hard time finding the words for the real question here, I have a good understanding of how this is a good thing and does help Trump, but what are the leftists claiming is the "illicit help" that Trump gets from Flynn being cleared? Basically they can't really claim that political persecutions are good, that judges should also be prosecutors, that leveraging threats against family members is fair. So what is the "public position" of why this is so bad? Everyone knows the real reason is they are scared Flynn will now be free to talk, which is the "private position." Sorry if this doesn't make sense but i can't think of a better way to word it.

The political persecution meme is manipulative for sure, if we look at how the left use it, two other examples come to mind.

  • With Mueller, who after then AG-Sessions recused himself was able to operate in any way he wanted without constraint for as long as he wanted. All the while internal notes showed that he knew very early on that there was no case, but maintained the charade of a real investigation for years until he was forced to call it a day. The dems had this constant chorus of that any interference with Mueller by Trump would be impeachable.. like a classic perjury tripwire. While they hoped that all the scouring of records, financial statements, would find.. anything.

  • With all the dem pedos, criminals and scum dragging their asses on stage for the 2018 midterms. And will happen again for November. Since then they could shriek in high dudgeon that any arrest or investigating into their shenanigans is electoral interference. You cant use running for office as a shield to do crime, but they are getting away with this exact thing. It doesn't indemnify jack shit.

As for assigning logic and agency to what the left are saying on twitter.. I think that ship sailed so long ago that even the smoke from its stacks is gone under the horizon. They cant evaluate evidence, or reason, or remember, or anything.. NPCs sparking and shorting out. Hysteria and panic is the reaction of a cornered animal, I think it doesn't bear more scrutiny than that. But it is a tell.
