Back in the day the deep state fuckers at the DOJ signed a non prosecution agreement with the intel communities if the crimes were done under the umbrella of protecting national security. That includes things like preventing highly damaging leaks (even by murder.) That includes things like underage prostitution (if done to blackmail potential enemies). That includes things like drug trafficking to fund "moderate rebels" to topple adversarial powers.
This means that them murdering Epstein to protect future operations and limit the civil unrest that would occur if the truth got out isn't a criminal issue. It's a fucking policy dispute. That's the real story. Don't believe me? Do some research. They had congressional hearings on this. It was admitted to in public testimony. It's not some conspiracy theory. And it won't change. They need to be able to do things and not be criminally liable in that world. Is it worth it? Idk. They have clearly gone way to far with the trafficking for blackmail, but it has been so unbelievably effective for controlling world leaders they can make be arguement that it's the lesser of two evils. It allows for the peaceful resolution of conflicts that would otherwise lead to armed conflict. You know how many wars have prevented with incriminating pictures? You know how many people tow the line and keep their mouth shut about things that would damage the USAs image and position on the global stage because they're on video fucking a 14 year old? So they make the case. When they are determined to have gone to far they change the policy and forbid it going forward, but no one is prosecuted. It would be illegal to even expose it. You know the damage Seth Rich did the people in power? I agree with his action. But just play devils advocate if you want to know what's really happening. What if Russia or China wound up with emails. You know how much leverage they would instantly have of the most powerful people in DC? The IC made the call that killing was in the interest of national security, and they were right, but they took advantage of it because they were corrupt.
That's the cold hard reality. Welcome to the sad disappointing answer to why the fuck is no one in jail.
