This is spot on. The Democrats are more of a party than the Republicans. Dems are calling the shots and media/entertainment/businesses tow their line. Republicans are writing strongly worded tweets.
Americans didn't speak up because anytime you legitimacy criticized Obama you were met with "that sounded like thinly veiled racism" remarks. Nobody wants to be called a racist. Especially people who aren't. We were too polite for too long. Getting falsely labeled stings a bit the first time, because it is an injustice of sorts. But get a thick skin pretty quick. ON the bright side, everything is now racist. It has no meaning anymore. So feel free to speak your mind.
