Yes but Biden doesn't matter right now. What matters is beating Trump. This election is not about the democratic nominee for the left, it is about beating Trump.
People that are against Trump are MUCH more motivated to vote against him now, because of the past 4 years, thanks in large part to the media. We have an additional 4 years of negative press on him now, and all the people who are simply tired of it all. We did not have that as much in 2016 as it was just getting started.
I do not "desperately want to be right" about any of this. All I really want is to not have the left take power again, and I'm concerned because it's not certain that it won't happen.
