The university she attends was the alma mater of my dad and grandparents. My grandfather was on the Board of Trustees, and he and my grandmother would be rolling in their graves if they knew what has become of the college since they've passed. Ever since they hired their latest president, it has been one thing after the other. Due to "racial reconciliation," the Six White Horses program now only carries the USA and Texas flags, instead of ALL 6 flags that flew over our state. It's an absolute joke to see them now. The orchestra program is gone, as well as the seminary program (although I heard through the grapevine that it had become majorly progressive in recent years, so maybe that's a good thing.) Also one of the buildings named after a former university president is looking to be renamed because his descendants have become so infuriated with the current leadership.
There's also been a huge new focus on diversity seminars and events over the last couple of years. After the latest protests around the country, there was another press release regarding the push for even more diversity in fall 2020. I know we all put focus on how the state schools lean left, but it's infiltrating the small private (Christian) schools just as much.
All this hate and division is the 'fruit of obama'.
"It's okay to hate democrats."
