I opened a Parler account a few days ago. As Twitter alternatives go, seems to have more buy-in from media personalities and politicians than Gab got. Albeit Gab was treated very unfairly, to a degree Parler hasn't experienced yet. Then again, Gab led with a bit of an adversarial marketing campaign. Hard to say, really. I support all these sites and just hope one of them manages to win out over the current crop. But I prefer TDW to any of these, of course. But for those who like more of a Twitter feel, there are alternatives.
Why does everyone plug Parler lately, but never links to it. I'd never heard of it, still haven't seen it, and have heard only shitty things about it, like they require your personal cell phone number, and you can't even look at the site until you.
That's a HARD no for me, and I can't imagine how this will take off with that plan.
