Fuck Parler. Successfully made an account a couple weeks ago with a disposable email and phone# Tried logging in again today and got a demand to re-verify the disposable phone# Absolutely no reason for this except as a way to report users identity.
Also you need a phone number for a twitter account nowadays, so I dont see how this is different. I don't like the phone number part either, but it does reduce bogus accounts.
Don't assume everyone wants to join Parler. Most would likely want to preview it before joining. Had T_D required registration before being able to view posts, I would've never visited again. As it was, in 2016 I "lurked" several months before registering. But when TD.w was launched, I only waited a few days to register after TD.w team sent me invitation to join.

The problem with Parler is that you can't just look at it, and they require a phone number. Too difficult.
