People over in the fanfiction subreddit got mad at me for calling George Floyd a criminal. Said I disrespected a dead guy, well, the discussion was that people are making fanfiction or, real person fiction about a dead criminal. They just wanted to act like I was "apologizing" for police brutality. I'm honestly sick of all these people acting like it was just police brutality. He was a BAD person and that's why he got in trouble with the cops. It was sad he died but I don't care about him, he was a career criminal that just happened to unfortunately for him, run into a bad cop.
People are trying way too hard to act like he was a saint, he wasn't. I also think real person fanfiction about him is stupid.
Are you serious? They are writing fan fiction about George Floyd? Can you give us a link? This I have to see. This would be idiocy beyond belief. And I bet it's poorly written fan fiction to boot!
I posted in a thread about don't write George Floyd fanfiction, I'm the most downvoted because I dared to call him a criminal, I'm half tempted to link his criminal record in the thread but the admin would probably ban me.
Here's the thread
You'll definitely get banned.
I didn't so I'm not banned, but It would be really funny though.
Most fan fiction of any kind is poorly written lol.
Here's what got me downvoted on Reddit:
Well, he was a criminal -- that's reality. And truthfully, I am in the camp of people that isn't altogether sure this whole episode wasn't a hoax. I am not sure George Floyd died.
Curious fact -- I saw a documentary about Floyd. He was 6' 7" tall. That is one large man. There is no way he could fit in that golden coffin unless they cut him down in size. Gross thought -- but even if they bent the body there wouldn't be room.
I just think this whole thing is a deep state false flag
Even so, I don't understand how people are getting so emotional over a complete stranger. There is some pathology operating here. I just haven't made up my mind where it falls on the axis..
