They tried it up here in WA, but we defeated it at the polls.

Do NOT give up the fight!

I'm not sure if it will be possible since so many sheep live in the cities but if this goes through, I'm dipping. I'd rather the homeless and free in another state than a prisoner in my own house.

My life dream is to set things up, like a ranch, such that homeless men, particularly veterans, can come and live in their own house, work at a decent job that gets them outdoors and with animals, and allows them to build a future for themselves and their families -- a future they build with their own hand and with their own land and their own animals. You won't get filthy rich but you'll never go hungry.

I think I know how to do it and how to keep the banks out of it. I'll do some experimentation and then if it works I'll be writing books and teaching others how to do it for free.

Thanks for sharing. I had no idea. I'm posting this wherever possible to ensure that this doesn't go through.

CA is fucked. Any pedes left need to dip out.

I'd rather stay and fight. The Founding Fathers went up against extraordinary odds as well.

You do you, pede. I doubt CA is going to get better anytime soon though.

It'll never get better if we all run like cowards

If you like CA enough to stay and fix it, that's your prerogative. I hated living there and every year it got worse. I'm not going to help something or someone that clearly doesn't want it.

I understand your position and half of me agrees with you. But the other half refuses to cede a state to communists. I'm a father of 4 in California and i may die fighting here. I don't like the thought of that, but need to be brave as an example to my children. I will only leave if it gets bad enough that it puts them in danger.

If you think that you're gonna die fighting there, then the danger for your children likely already exists.

After having grown up in Southern California (one of the few Red areas that wasn't in the desert too), visiting for a couple weeks every year, then spending a few months in the Bay Area back in 2018, I can say I don't miss it and will play my lyre as Rome burns when the state implodes -- which I think, unfortunately, is the only way to right the ship at this point.

I'd love to leave but the economy here doesn't really let me. I live in the poorest district, live paycheck to paycheck with little to no way of saving. I'm wanting to look for jobs in another state but I'm not sure where would be a good place for a Hispanic to go to that isn't Democratic controlled.

I was in the same spot at one point, Pede. I'm Hispanic, grew up in So Cal, and dipped the fuck out. I currently live in Las Vegas (which is mostly left held), but am planning on moving to WY, ID, or MT.

Well I'm gonna have to look into going somewhere too. This is so crazy how this is even happening. I've been thinking about TX but I'm not really sure how that would be.

I lived in El Paso for a short while. It's a nice town. I've also been to Lubbock, Amarillo, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Ft. Worth, and Dallas.

I enjoyed visiting every town and for the most part, found the locals to be friendly. If I didn't want to live in the Mountains I'd go back to Texas.
