I understand your sentiment; it is impossible to truly appreciate the paradox of divinity while embraced by the coils of mortality. I shared your opinion for a large portion of my impressionable life. While it is impossible to ever really understand how it can all be part of God's plan, I am able to accept it. This acceptance can not really be shared, it is an internal realization and communion, so I won't try.

Yeah, well, i respect your right to have whatever beliefs you want, but the problem with religious types is that if you dont partake in their fantasy world, they will be happy to tell you all kinds of things. That you are wrong, you wont go to heaven, you’re a sinner, blah blah blah. Church is a creation of man and only has anything to do with god based on mans edicts. The bible? Written by men, edited by other devious men for whatever purposes they felt entitled to.
As a whole, religion has caused way more death, destruction, suffering, tragedy etc. than it has ever solved. But of course, your religion is the right one, every religious person believes that. I was raised in religion, until i saw it for what it is, an indoctrination program. I like to steer clear of openly religious types, because my experience with them is they they are as a whole more unethical and self centered than non religious, or privately religious folks. And im not saying theres the odd baddy, virtually every religious type i have engaged the topic with, has proved that out. Anecdotal, but thats my opinion, and even the religious types will agree with it, just not them. I know, all i have to do is confess my sins and that jesus is my lord and savior and boom, i go to heaven. Ive studied religions as a point of interest, where someone like you turns to it roite to salvation.
Im not going to turn to god because im suffering, i cant think of a worse reason, and I wouldn’t say ive suffered through anything in 5 decades. Ive endured it, powered thhrough it, prospered and enjoyed the struggle. I dont need an imaginary friend to hold my hand through this world, because im in heaven now.
