This disease is killing a lot of people and is very contagious. You might think it's 'just another disease' and not find the fatality rate concerning, but if too many people get infected at once, the healthcare system will be overwhelmed and fatalities will skyrocket.
Thanks for the reply. I have shared these very ideas for the first 4 months of the year, specifically when there was little data, but no more. Now I am convinced that it is mostly hype / spin, even tho I also assume the virus was engineered. BTW, I am a geneticist, molecular biolologist, in addition to multiple other bio specialties.

Are you suggesting that CDC data doesn't actually show severe fatality and infection rates? Or that the data is wrong/misleading?
