He's always been a little bitch, this fiasco merely confirmed it for the casuals who don't follow the sport. I'm a little sad I wont be seeing any more races, but NASCAR has done this to themselves. They kowtowed to Jessie Jackson (or was it Al Sharpton?) in the 90's before finally finding their balls, now they pull this shit. They have always been opportunists, chasing those lost fans from the days when they competed with MLB in viewership (yup, NASCAR was that big at one point). They go through all these diversity programs and virtue signalling when all they had to do was bump horsepower back up and chop off the spoilers.

They damned near had a monopoly on Sunday afternoon TV for years. There was no college basketball and the only baseball you could get was Braves or Cubs if you had TBS or WGN or whatever local market you were in. NFL only competed with the back third of the season. NASCAR was insanely popular.
