There is probably a lot more truth in this than we realize, hence why I never really went on the anti-Barr bandwagon. Watching Trump turn to Barr with a grin on his face after Trump nuked a "reporter" was pretty telling on the dynamic the two have -- they clearly get along.

I agree with you. Everytime Barr acts objectively, you end with a hearing in Congress. The hole DOJ needs to be burned down and started over.
