I remember way back in middle school, when I didn't know jack about shit, that the "social studies" teacher was telling us that the parties switched. She didn't say when, how, or why, just that they did. Who is they? Who knows?! Simply drill this shit into kid's heads early enough and they believe it. Repeat the lie enough that it becomes truth (truth is different from fact).
