The "silent majority" is the embodiment of doing nothing even though we hold majority political power. Why do we wear that term like a badge of honor? It's disgraceful.

We are actively allowing fringe far left extremism to propagate because we're not doing anything to stop it. We're sitting back and watching them take bolder and bolder actions with literal impunity. We think that surely this time people will see how crazy they are, even though if they haven't seen it by now they never will. Or that we shouldn't care because it's only happening in blue cities, as though they're going to stop there. All they're doing is picking off the weak and biding time as they build up their strategy of attack against us.

Meanwhile, a Trump supporter smiles and gets his life ruined. By a tiny handful of fringe minority voices. Why are we letting them do this?

AOC won her district by a landslide because 4% of the people living there voted and the other 96% did nothing. How's that for a silent majority?

Obviously we're all going to vote, I'm not worried about that. But Trump is already president right now, and I don't know about you, but I already don't like what's happening in America right now. What's his re-election going to change if we're not willing to do anything while he's already in office?

Discuss.

I think we have to do what we can in our community. I'm addressing my city council on my citys unwillingness to enforce the law when it comes to protesers. If we all take a bite out of the power base of leftists we can prevail

Would you say that's been effective so far?

My experience with our city council has been that somebody in the community will express displeasure with our leadership, to the fervent agreement of other residents, then the city council will go ahead and do whatever they want anyway.

The thing is, these leaders are afraid, especially these local leaders who don't actually have much power to begin with. There are violent mobs who have every intention of burning down their homes and destroying their families, coming from out of town, even out of state to do so, and that's nothing to say of what the media will do to them if it gets attention.

And then there's us, who might write a strongly-worded letter but will ultimately acquiesce to whatever new bullshit they throw our way.

What can I do? Concrete legal plan is needed.

I think we need to show people that they don't have to keep their head down in fear. On an individual level, I think that means just calling things out and not letting things slide in your own circles and sharing your personal wins here! Be it your friends, family, coworkers, media corrections, Internet conversations, etc.You might already be doing that (I am as well), but I know a lot of people aren't for fear of being fired or blasted on social media or whatever. The more people do, the more emboldened others will become.

At scale, I think it might mean getting organized. I see what Project Veritas is doing as incredibly important. Not only are they a safe haven for people to expose huge corporations, but they're also protecting these people legally and physically. However, PV only really deals with huge whistleblower exposes. I think we need something like that for smaller scale situations. People need to feel confident that their families and livelihoods will be protected if they speak out about these issues.

Obviously that's not something that you or I could probably put together, but it's no secret that much of what gets posted here ends up reaching more "connected" people. So I think getting a solid plan together and getting some attention for it here might have the potential to spark something bigger. I have a few thoughts about what that could look like, but I think brains bigger than mine should probably weigh in.

Well-said, my friend.

Letters to the editor? Calls? E-mails? Go to a town hall if your local politicians do them.

I suggest everyone read at theconservativetreehouse.com, and join the discussion if you wish. I am not one bit worried about Pres Trump winning or the manner in which he is handling what is happening. The reason you are rightfully scared is that noone is saying much from the White House to reassure us. But both Trump and Barr have fired US Atty, Berman from SDNY which is central to the money laundering scheme and prosecution dodging taking place. In other words, the Deep State. PT is getting very close and they know it. Now Flynn's exoneration is showing further evidence that both Obama and Biden were involved in the coup against Trump. This is very bad for the Dem Party. They are a dumpster fire.

Trump warned us early on that he will not be able to tell us everything that is going on so he won't tip off the Deep State. We don't know everything that's happening, but that doesn't mean it isn't taking place. Trust PT.

Kinda hard when the red areas have fewer problems and less dysfunction and so the people there are less inclined to chime in or complain.
