It is up to us to blame the spike on protests and riots which the left and the Dems were proud of..for weeks all was cool while thousands marched in the streets..need to blame anyone on the spike blame the left..and yes it was their plan to cause a spike..they want us shut down again..those people are evil!
The problem is that the cat’s out of the bag. The protests caused a spike and the media/gov’s lax attitude towards the protesters made everyone else stop paying attention to COVID. We’re going to see higher numbers for a bit because enough people just don’t care anymore.
DeSantis is holding strong in Florida. Much of the case spike is due to the protests, in/out patient surgery test screening ALL patients for Covid as a pre-caution and of course a spike in numbers was also suspected as we opened up.
Most counties have below a 7% positivity rate for infections. Still well below the 11% DeSantis is using as a marker. Some counties in Florida have mandatory mask rules when in public. Im actually ok with that for a couple of weeks which is all we will need to see if that shit actually works.
Another lockdown won't happen, people would just revolt, not care and stop listening
He's doing an indirect cave. He'll be allowing Local Government such as County Judges and Mayors to impose enforceable curfews soon. My local county judge put put us on notice that a curfew is coming, but not effective....yet. He knows Abbott will amend EO to allow enforceable curfews. This way Abbott hands are clean as NOT the one who is rolling back rights.
