Well...working with law enforcement for about 12 years, all I can say is people do not know how to moderate their drug or alcohol use, and it catches up with you soon or later, sometimes all a once. Almost every death I have dealt with is drug over dose, lately they are getting some mixed up sh!t that doesn't respond as well to narcan, they are pushing limits on meth going into SVT. Cardiomyopathy, papillary necrosis, psychosis, cognitive decline. Many becomes essentially brain-dead wards of the state, like advanced dementia but more violent, unable to put together a sentence.
