I been saying this for a while. They report total cases and deaths because there is no such thing as a negative case or death...well, unless they retroactively correct it...but the media does not report he CDC data which is the primary function of the CDC, data.

Hospitalizations: falling

Deaths: falling

Testing: increasing exponentially

(new cases reported should scale with increases in testing, yet)

New cases reported: remains level

CNN: MORE NEW CASES, MUST BE A 2ND WAVE!

We are protected from excessive fines via the Constitution. You should write the DOJ, and find a lawyer to sue.

The government cannot fine us for failure to adhere to a dress code.

Maybe it is time to March on the Governor's mansion. Setup a mask free Constitution zone on the lawn.

Also if they try to tell you to prove it hit them with HIPAA and how much of a fine they'll receive for pushing for the info.

I think we all saw it coming a few months ago, even Trump. The media kept harping on testing. Testing means nothing because you could be infected 5 minutes after the test. All along, it was meant to keep this political tool alive well into the fall and prevent the economy from taking off.

They are not just saying "2nd wave" They are also saying

  • The virus has mutated and now more deadly
  • If you catch the virus you will be dealing with side effects like chest pain/shortness of breath for MONTHS if not YEARS afterward

They are going full throttle to shut this country down longer and tighter than they did the first go round.

I'll take my chances. The media isn't known for an exemplary track record in accurate reporting.

They (the media) can push it all they want. But when they shifted to the race card and pushed for protests, a huge swath of America said, we're done with this Kung Flu BS. The rally proved it. Most everyone attending was NOT wearing masks. Now multiply that by millions and you get a massive rejection of this narrative. People aren't buying this crap anymore!

If I have to go to a store that requires "face coverings" I take my camo ball cap with an attached camo face mesh. I'll never wear their fucking dog masks and I hope we start getting creative with them. Some are wearing motorcycle helmets. Some have gas masks. Some have MAGA masks etc. Use them against these cucks.

That's hilarious. If anything, it looks like the mutations are getting weaker since the deaths continue to trend downward and our treatment protocols are improving.

The fact is that it looks like an assortment of vitamin D, vitamin C, N-acetyl-cysteine, and zinc may reduce hospitalizations and mortality. Even if you are hospitalized, heparin appears to help reduce thrombi in the lungs, and dexamethasone can limit the effects of cytokine storm if your body has fought the virus off but the immune response is damaging lung tissue.

It's not like this is January all over again. We have a lot of things in our arsenal that we've learned.

Edit: Though, if you're diabetic, you're probably screwed. But that's true for most viral infections.

The total number of people dying per week is the best number to look at if you want to see how well we are doing against Covid-19.

They can fuck around with that death number a little bit but not as much as they can fuck around with testing numbers or infection rates, recovered, infectious patients or any other nonsense .

Don’t forget to check out my projections. I am OP. The projections are based on the data up to now. I’m just following the downward trend and projecting it out.

P.S. It is good news BTW.

What's the original table from? (I've only looked through some of the comments here before asking)

Raw daily numbers from here:

https://covidtracking.com/data/us-daily

Were crunched by me to make weekly numbers.

“The death statistics are not a fair representation. The only reason death rates are declining is because Trump isn’t allowing democrat governors to use COVID to get paid for murdering the elderly in nursing homes. Falling death rates are fake news; here’s why it’s bad for America.” -CNN Probably

That reminds me when my parents were watching him when I went to see them...

Cuomo said America has only tested 20-something people per 100,000...

I brough up the CDC stats on total test performed, which was like about 14,000,000 at the time which comes out to about 4,200 tested per 100,000...I think they couldn't report facts if they had wanted to at this point...

It’s stupid how much harder it is to get a number for active cases in the US. On the JH website Ohio doesn’t even have recoveries listed despite my hometown’s county hospital posting a list of cases where everyone has recovered except for 2 people.

We have some information

https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/COVIDNet/COVID19_3.html

There overall rate is about 24 per 100,000 people per week

You will have to select the parameters in the link, so about 80,000 per week nation wide, or average 1,600 (varying 800 to 3,200) hospitalizations per state per week.

There are about 20,000 incorporated cities etc in America...so an average of about 4 (varying 2 to 8) hospitalizations per city per week depending on severity of the area
