My parents are extremely worried about COVID. Well, mainly my mother. They STILL wear masks and want others to as well. And they're blaming the scary ” spikes” on re-opening the country. And my parents are conservatives. But they don't follow politics at ALL. They don't want that in their lives and refuse to stand up for their beliefs. And don't say to me that I need to convince them to think our way they always stop the conversation and say I'm arguing with them. They won't take my points of view into account.

A lot of my family wear masks as well. I don't know what to do. And of course, they will force me to wear a mask whenever I'm out so I just refuse to leave. But I have an upcoming surgery in Phoenix, AZ that I have to go to but my mom is so scared about the spikes in that city so who knows what will happen. I'm 20, but this is supposed to be a family trip to Arizona and of course my surgery. I'm still living at home and my mom especially is so scared of getting sick so it's very complicated business.
