Because the left are so violent, people like me mostly keep it quiet unless we know we are around rational people. By rational people I include not just Trump supporters, but even a few of my republican and democrat friends who are still capable of having a rational conversation and don't think everyone who disagrees with them is literally hitler. There are still some of those out there.
So, you may ask, "how do I identify fellow Trump supporters?" Well, except for the brave ones like my wife, who will just speak out if you bring up politics, and you'll know, we are the ones not getting involved in the leftist hate speech. We tend to just keep quiet or give non-committal answers when leftists at work or wherever start their rants. We're trying to get our jobs done and live our lives, not have a fight with any random moron who disagrees with us, so we'll just laugh in our sleeve at the idiocy. If you suspect someone you may want to talk to may be one of us, and want to start a dialog, I'd suggest asking an indirect question (or making an indirect statement) and evaluating the response. Something such as "I wonder what Minneapolis will be like if they get rid of the police" or "I'm not sure what to believe anymore about corona virus". You'll get a good idea of where the person stands.
Once you break through, I think you'll find the person quite talkative and enthusiastic and, in my experience, generally nice, caring and friendly.
We are everywhere.
