It’s a stupid comment. We do not have enough info to advise the president. Consider: if we know something, it’s because we have been allowed to know it. Trump already knew it. We are being brought up to speed at a pace that normies can handle. You can’t advise the president from a lower level of information (“durr, I’d advise the president by starting in this forum, durr”)
Honest question, do you know what an advisor is? Are you honestly having trouble differentiating between the president and an advisor? It's kinda baffling. Please, for your own benefit, go DDG some of the current and previous advisors. Some of them are outright terrible. I'm dumber for having to explain to you that the president isn't his own advisor. First, I wanna apologize for being an asshole. It's a stupid thing to be a dick about. Just overall in a bad mood about the state of our country. Sincere apologies, that was all me and it was uncalled for.
My argument is that advisors do things like recommend certain paths to take. For example, Kushner apparently pushes criminal reform to appeal to the black vote. He isn't breaking news to him. He is recommending things based on his understanding of current events.
And I assumed it was understood in this hypothetical situation that someone here would be briefed and educated on whatever issues they were in charge over.
