This is why I have been laughing when people are turned off (pardon the pun) to switching to Parler because it requires a phone number (which is easy to work around.) If powers that be want to fuck with you and exert pressure, they will do shit like this to you.

No need to make it easier for people to fuck with you though. There are free speech alternatives without this requirement (or workaround).
