Maybe encourage her to look at actions, rather than words? Many find that sort of brash New York attitude quite off-putting, so they're imagining Trump to be meaner or ruder than he really is. If they look at what he really does for Americans they will see him in a better light. There was a thread on reddit (probably deleted for being truthful) about people telling real-life interactions with Trump, and all of them were positive, he was always willing to help someone out and was really kind to everyone, no matter what position they were. Just to help solidify her vote.

Also we need to do everything we can to have fair elections. The old saying is "it's not who votes that counts, but who COUNTS the votes!" Of course voting matters. Normal poll workers never see the count, at least in my jurisdiction. And the real problem is the boxes full of fraudulent mail-in ballots they bring in at the last minute, when poll workers have been there all day and want to go home.
My best idea is for us to be a second shift that shows up may 45 minutes before close, and checks every mail-in ballot against the registration rolls to see if it's legit, and challenges any we can't be sure hasn't voted. That's a (somewhat) peaceful way, anyway.
DJT has plans to stop mail-in ballots, but threatening to cut off Federal funding isn't effective for two reasons: they plan on cheating 3 x as much as ever before so what he wants won't matter, and Courts have ruled against him when he was 100% right and legal. If he has some other means to stop it of course that's better, but we have to brace for this ...

On top of poll working we need people watching and filming the vehicles transporting ballots on election week 24/7. Remember how many cars and box trucks with ballots were found abandoned weeks after the election? That rental car at the airport story was just crazy, but I expect worse this time around.

Become a poll watcher or an election judge, both only take a few hours training. Election judges are trained by the county and poll watchers are trained by each party.
Election judges, even new ones have a lot of say on election day.
I listed below the major duties of election judges, and after reading the duties and as more and more of us shoulder our civic responsibility to safe guard our elections, you will begin to understand why the democrats want to switch to "mail in ballets".
Besides odds and ends here are the duties of election judges:
-Ensuring voters are at the proper polling location.
-Checking voters for proper identification.
-Looking up voters' names in the precinct roster.
-Calling the County Clerk's office to determine the eligibility of a voter.
-Having voters sign the precinct roster.
-Issuing the proper ballot to voters.
-Instructing voters how to vote their ballot.
-Instructing voters on where to put their voted ballot.
-Periodically checking to ensure the number of signatures in the roster matches the number of ballots in the ballot box.
-Giving proper election information to voters.
-Closing the polling location promptly at 7:00 p.m.
-Gathering supplies/ballots and returning them to County Clerk's office.
These duties might look easy but, in an isolated polling place and faced with old entrenched democrats used to running the show, be assured that there will be times when you have to summon great courage and fight to protect everyone's vote
