It'd be nice if President Trump signed some EO or otherwise told Americans that they don't have to follow their state's Chinese Virus protocols after the rioters and looters were allowed to roam free.
Outside of Trump giving the country permission to legally resist these authoritarian laws (i.e, supremacy clause) I don't see how we will avoid another lockdown like the one we just got out of. If that happens, a recession/depression is almost certain.
Hospitalizations, the only thing that really matters, are up nominally but now most people are completely free to move about the country. That was the original idea and now it's done.
What really gets your head scratching, is how strong the economy is with 20% of people not working.
This really tells you we have no need for immigration at all, if 20% of people can stop working and we only lose 5% gdp.
If we could somehow get that 20% to leave and go somewhere else, our country would be a rocket. Housing affordable, plenty of good paying jobs, everyone would get a bigger piece of the pie.
