Double whammy stemming from the direct attack on normal sexual relationships in general, and the reverse psychological programming of otherwise intelligent decent people being taught that it's bad to have children until after you've finished a college degree, gotten a stable job, bought a house, saved up a decent amount of money, and completed any other number of seemingly intelligent life goals that push child rearing off until the woman is pushing forty and can't have kids anymore.
Even in the most conservative circles, I find people who will openly attack anyone who suggest that it isn't a bad idea for people in their early early twenties to go ahead and have kids, and keep having them.
Having kids early without "planning" first is routinely attacked as a huge mistake and a guaranteed life of failure, and of course suggesting that maybe a mom stay home to take care of their own children is anathema.

Do an experiment. Give up porn and masturbation for a few weeks, and then go to a place where there are single females your age. You'll notice one thing right away. Your inhibition or indifference around women will drop significantly. It will feel more natural to intermingle, introduce yourself, and make some moves. You'll will probably feel a lot more aggressive and self-confident. This is your libido unconsciously seeking an outlet.
Because white people give a fuck about the quality of life of their children. By not pumping out 4,5,6 kids, the 1,2 kids have a more stable home. However, “others” don’t think this way. See: everyone else.
Every single religion except the one true Catholic church promotes contraception (not that "catholics" don't contracept as well), but this and the fact that abortion is a side effect of the contraceptive mentality
There are studies on this, I don't how much translates directly to the current situation with COVID/quarantine.
Typically, as women become more educated and have more opportunities, they voluntarily decide to have less kids. This trend has been observed in every part of the world.
What I don't know is why the birth rate is declining with COVID because you would expect birth rate to increase when people are forced to stay together more. I would speculate the decline is attributed to uncertainty about the future.
Everyone is being squeezed by the global corporations. Previously the robber barons and oligarchs felt some responsibility for their workers. They wanted the people to have children and for those children to be educated so they too will become productive workers.
At this point they are so divorced from the common man that they view us as replaceable cogs to be abused. Just move in some 3rd worlders and everything will be the same.
Actually it goes ever further these days, they have been taught at their 'elite' schools that we are demons who need to be purged.
As more women have abortions, they eventually find out that it makes getting pregnant in the future much harder. And waiting until your mid thirties is also a very bad idea.
For me, in the age of Feminazis and sky high divorce rates (and also from the fact that my own "father" is a miserable SOB), it just isn't worth it. I'm fairly used to being well off enough my myself. Perhaps one day, I'll become a priest.
Maybe but I think it has more to do with the unhealthy way of life in the west. Porn, lack of exercise coupled with overindulgence in synthetic and unhealthy, downright cancerous food lowers testosterone and makes men weak. It’s also expensive to have children and pay for them. Weaker men might settle for smaller family sizes. I’m not an expert but I don’t think feminism is that much to blame. It has made things hard but liberal feminist women often end up having a baby daddy who seems to be a Chad, albeit of a different race but nonetheless a superficially more masculine guy than a lot of white guys.. unfortunately. Go to Eastern Europe, white dudes there are more macho and tough than most Chad types here. I’d blame the trend mostly on the docile nature of white men in the US. Not all, but a lot of white culture in the US forces men to be weaker but I see a reversal in this trend.
