Government barracks/housing, strictly monitored communications and free time. Right now Congress attracts elites looking to expand their power/pocketbooks. Between the lobbying kickbacks and insider stock knowledge, their net worth's are far exceeding their salary. This should never be the case. Make them sleep on bunks and eat in a mess hall their entire term.

It was meant to be kinda like that. Not the barracks and the lousy chow (unless you’re in the Air Force perhaps ;-) but like jury duty. A public service you did for a while then went back to your business.
