there is no punchline. he just gives a milquetoast politician answer about red tape and bureaucracy, as if "having to dot the i's and cross the t's" is a valid excuse.

yes, i am concerned about america when it is burning to the ground and our leaders are refusing to act in any way shape or form. i won't apologize for it.

i guess i should just stop being concerned about this country. that's a good attitude.

Exactly this. I could maybe buy his explanation were conspicuously innocent MAGAfolk not being prosecuted so enthusiastically by his department.

As for progressive thugs? Justice delayed is justice denied. The time for indictments was years ago.
