I recently got to my breaking point at work after my coworkers non stop Trump/Republican bashing ,I never have mentioned that I don't agree but will state an opinion on things without out right saying I'm on a certain side. Recently I've said please stop with the political talk because i'm just emotionally drained from hearing it all day, nobody cares. Next day I say please enough I dont want to hear it,I dont agree with your stance and this isn't the place to be talking about this and go to the office per request of my supervisor(knew nothing would happen) more and more they talk to piss me off. Seems to be no laws for the work place on this issue unless I claim harassment, am I right?

Just approach it as simple harassment. This is enough. Tell HR, "the politics is just the vehicle they use", those coworkers are harrassing you, they would use anything that would work. And your direct supervisor turns a blind eye, which amounts to retaliation. This will get some action. If that action gets you fired, SUE them. Do not be nice and understanding (be polite and honest), they will not return the courtesy. Document now, not tomoorow, and hire that attorney as soon as this looks like termination. Do NOT Wait!
