I've said this a hundred times already, but I'll say it again. It requires you to enter a phone number on first page of registration (feel free to provide fake number), it asks again for a phone number on second page for verification but allows you to skip it.
You can make an account without verifying either phone number or email.
The idea that you have to go through the motions is asinine and self-defeating. They either need to choose that you do need to verify to view content or you don't because they're deterring a lot of people with faux requirement.
So.. to create an account, we need to give our email and phone number? We trust these people?
We should get a sticky post for a few days here on Parler, the ins and outs, how to work it, who to follow, etc.
Then we need GEOTUS to jump on board.

When I signed up, they didn't. I tried just now, and I only get a loading screen after the captcha. They're losing a lot of potential users!
Make a new gmail address just for signing up and get a google voice number. That is what I did.
