Yes! I want one for literature. I stopped reading anything made after 2010. It was just too much crap. Books are praised with five stars. They'll win awards and acclaim. So, I'll read them and they are horrible. I don't just mean ideological either. I mean story structure, sentence structure, it's just terrible writing all around. Invariably the swj stuff will come through, and I'll say, "there it is, that's why this shit was praised." It fucking pisses me off.
That shit is going on in the movies and video game industry too. It's ridiculous.
It's also hilarious when sites have both curated scores and audience scores. The newest sjw shitfest comes out and all the professional critics give it 10/10 and gush over it. Then the audience just shits on it and everyone gets a good laugh as we get to see their illusion shattered by the reality of what everyone really thinks of it.
I agree! I hate saying things like, “Book these days are so bad compared to the ones of the past” because that’s not how literature works, lol, but modern books bug me a lot. The most praised books are always the ones with the most random plots, the most intentional lack of grammar or neglect of syntax to make a point...Idk, seems like people are more interested in sjw-approved books than good storytelling. Everyone wants to be edgy. Same goes for movies, come to think of it
I agree! I love to stick with old stuff! The newer stuff is often overrated. About the newest thing I enjoy would be Patrick Conroy, because my dad was also a Marine and we have Carolina roots.
I would totally ask if there's any composer pedes out there. I want to learn to make music, and it seems like all the youtubers out there teaching it are just setting you up to fail.
I have a feeling that when the "second wave" of covid never comes, the market will just begin powering forward for multiple years of solid above-average (dare I say double digit?) gains. The key is keeping President Trump in office.
Ask an actuary. You know. Those folks that set life insurance rates. Life insurance is the same price as last year?
Here is what Stanford and UCLA is starting to point out:
“These infection fatality rates are remarkably low and are similar to the fatality rate for the seasonal flu.”
“The virus is 10 times less fatal than we first thought.”
Dr. Rajiv Bhatia is an affiliated assistant clinical professor of Medicine at Stanford University. He is a former deputy health officer for the San Francisco Department of Public Health, [email protected]. Dr. Jeffrey Klausner is a professor of Medicine and Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles.
“To properly assess the mortality risk associated with the coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary to examine deaths and death rates from all causes, not just deaths and death rates from COVID-19.”
They are asking this question because it is clear the Covid-19 numbers are highly inflated from other causes of death.
“During January-May 2020, the CDC and Department of Health and Human Services show about 120,000 total deaths in California, which is similar to the number during January-May 2018.”
They are comparing this current flu season against the last big pandemic that his us in 2017-2018 Flu season. The numbers look the same.
“Thus, the 2020 total death rates in California can be approximated by the 2018 total death rates, which are in the CDC’s WONDER database. I focus here on those under 65 years of age because they include students and most working-age people, and because COVID-19 deaths comprise only 3% of the total deaths in this age range during 2020.”
Experts, such as John Ioannidis, Knut Wittkowski, Francis Collins, and Anders Tegnell were saying things to this effect from the start. We should remember those names for the future. They were already very well respected in their fields; they weren't random cranks. We would do well to remember their names and take their opinions seriously in the future.
Praying for it every day. That kind of market move enters the "life changing money" territory for me, even with the stuff I have in the "safe money" category. Good luck with your investing!
On the short term side I've had a lot of luck in this volatile market swing trading MU calls and puts. On the long term "safe" side it is best characterized as mutual funds and company stock. $SPY moving to 400-450 would blow that up huge.
Part of what is levitating the market is the threat of flooding the economy with trillions of new "dollars". This is intended to counter deflation, and so we may be able to get away with it and not get inflation, in the short term. In the long term, it's worrisome.
But the part that Trump is doing well is un-coupling us from Chyna. We need to bring those jobs back to the USA. We need to make things again. We need to MAKE America Great Again.
I’ll second that IF we completely stop buying from Chyna. If Americans are forced to buy from Americans there will be so many jobs to be had.
I think our biggest downfall right now is not only do we not manufacture but we also don’t have the capability to produce the machines that due the manufacturing. For instance, it’s one thing to actually produce for example mask in America, but the other thing is to produce the machine that produces the mask. We can’t completely shut ourselves off from Chyna if we are still buying the machines we need to produce the thing we want.
They are trying to pull that shit here in Florida. No way do I believe these over 5,000 cases a day for the last few days. All the mask bullshit. Thankfully DeSantis isn't being a total pussy.
Yeah somehow all the worst states are now the republican southern states and not the shitholes where people are gathering en mass, only wearing masks to hide their identity. Somehow the virus is smart enough to leave protestors alone, but all those people going to the beach are doomed! Not buying it.
Something happened almost 2 weeks ago in my neck of the woods... Let me explain:
I live in a blue area in a red state. I work on the outskirts of town. On my way to work, in an abandoned shopping center they set up a rapid response covid testing. For weeks it would have 3 to 4 cars there whenever I would drive by. I thought, awesome, if I ever think I have it I'll run by. Well after weeks of near empty parking, something changed last Monday. On Monday the parking lot was half full all of a sudden. The next day the whole lot was packed. After that the line went into the street. Then the line would be into the street by 6:50am and then be backed up for blocks.
I would ask around wtf is going on? Are huge companies demanding their employees take the test to get back to work? Nope. Some how some people got the word to get as many tested as they could, and suddenly. It was strange. Still happening.
Then add on top of that all the people who were on the edge of death already, elderly, diabates, car crashes. All the people who got put on a ventillator unnecessarily. All the people denied Hydrochloroquine. Intentional sabotage by Democrats to hurt Orange Man!!
Factor in that they are testing people with symptoms and if it comes back negative calling it “COVID without confirmation” or some shit and not testing for other diseases.
Shoulda been done months ago, but Trump is gonna have to publicly downgrade Fauci. Fauci's roll, and Trump's support of Fauci, gives dem guvners cover to imprison their citizens and blame it on Trump.
Hopefully Nike and Sony are excluded from the economy restoration/bounceback and left in the dust. Fuck them and their PR teams staffed with un-American commie piles of shit.
👋Hey hey!!👋 Over here!! .....We have a HUGE "ember" here in Nevada.......his name is Steve 'shitbag' Sisolak! ...can you please put out ASAP?
Our state has the highest unemployment!! Masks were just mandated and 'phase 3' is off the table because we are only in the 'first wave' from what he claimed yesterday....HELP!
Please no more broad bailouts (benevolently labeled stimulus). Half the people I know used them like they would tax refunds, dropping cash on splurging and entertainment, in cases purely on something to keep them busy during the lockdown like non-essential home improvement projects and makeovers. The other half owned businesses and got at most half a month's rent out of all this. How we plan on paying back these billions remains to be spelled out. We know liberal states will jump at any opportunity to collect those stacks of cash and I refuse to be the one paying their tab.
I just heard this one today at work, 'you know all the areas with new cases are republican states that opened up too early and did you see all the thousands of people at that rally Trump had? How selfish is he trying to get everyone sick again?'
Our economy has the embers currently, we are a republic of the people, made by the people. Those embers will become a flame, which grows, and becomes a bonfire, and that bonfire will grow, and become the everlasting fire of THE American population. WE WILL FIGHT BACK.
Yup. Everyone here in San Antonio is panicking and believing that the world is going to end. Several friends I know have friends who have tested positive. They're all fine...it's a medium to bad cold...but also the world is going to end if we don't close all bars and the river.
I love it too but it is entirely run by liberal idiots and inhabited by sheep. The city is buried in debt - which is why property values are rising all over the city (for the additional tax revenue to pay off terrible investments in the form of billions of dollars worth of bonds for "public works" projects that are lining the pockets of democrat politicians) and our genius mayor purchased 250 million dollars worth of ventilators two months ago. I love the city...but the past few months have been enlightening...and sad.
All of these Branch Covidians screaming about the increase in positive test results are just proving more than more that the Commie Flu is far less deadly than is being pushed by the same Branch Covidians.
The more positive cases, the lower the fatality rate because actual hospitalizations and deaths are dropping like crazy.
the governor is an asshat and keeps slow walking everything. the running joke is that he spins this "wheel of fortune" everyday to decide which arbitrary thing hes going to "allow" to open up or advance to the next phase. he doesnt even let his own health officials see the data he uses to determine things and still wants to push a federal borrowing scheme (bailout)
Disregard the "Q" reference. I agree Trump is the most transparent president we have ever had in our lifetimes... But I also know he is very smart and strategic. Don't you see how Trump and his team are kind of ramping things up for the offensive?
And watch all the soy cucks say nah uh. CNN says infections are way up in the US. It's immoral to go to work. The. The very next fucking segment they talk about the peaceful protests as people set shit on fire. Everyone at CNN and MSNBC hee haw deserves death
Chyna WILL do it again in the future. And if they do, we need to do random sample testing to identify hotspots and phased shutdowns. We can’t shutdown the whole economy every year Chyna wants to release a flu virus.
Blue States will absolutely shut down the minute they can, then campaign on: "President Trump's economy is failing", during an election year.
Oh and you can't vote for President Trump, because Blue States also shut down polling places. Isn't that convenient?
Nice! Would love to know more. Wish we had a sub Win for it.
I wish we also has a subwin for advice. Would be nice to request help from other pedes on home projects or life coaching, those sorts of things.

What about cat pics and porn?
Let me introduce you to this cannibal named Spez.

Maga kekonomics
Not a bad idea. Trump supporters it seems have a totally different view than the old Kenysian way of thinking.

Can you day trade for a few bucks with limited time or is it not worth it?
The soft part of the economy (Netflix and video games) needs a thorough house cleaning. Most of it is rotten.
They are trying to pull that shit here in Florida. No way do I believe these over 5,000 cases a day for the last few days. All the mask bullshit. Thankfully DeSantis isn't being a total pussy.

Maybe they were giving out free gift cards with every Covid test!
And also "government money is good"
Funny you mention those states. Those just happen to be the ones with rising cases and in NC-mandatory masking!
When the economy picked back up I had a lib tell me this is actually Obama’s doing. Trump is just riding on his success...
They are all fucked in the head
If it's 25 million tested and 125,000 deaths thats .5% mortality rate.
Then add on top of that all the people who were on the edge of death already, elderly, diabates, car crashes. All the people who got put on a ventillator unnecessarily. All the people denied Hydrochloroquine. Intentional sabotage by Democrats to hurt Orange Man!!
50k plus false ones according to AJ.
You mean like people in nursing homes?
Factor in asymptomatic and it's closer to .2-.3%
Factor in that they are testing people with symptoms and if it comes back negative calling it “COVID without confirmation” or some shit and not testing for other diseases.
Then factor in the fact the test comes out positive for literally any Coronavirus and you get 0%
AKA “people died”
and like half of the deaths are from Democrats killing the elderly.
You are forgetting the people who already had it !!!
All for their end game...mail in voting support.
Colorado implemented mail-in voting years ago and I don’t think we’ve voted republican since 🤔
Shoulda been done months ago, but Trump is gonna have to publicly downgrade Fauci. Fauci's roll, and Trump's support of Fauci, gives dem guvners cover to imprison their citizens and blame it on Trump.

Great news! And when are the first arrests for treason? Asking for a fren
Mr President,
Please end the mask tryanny.
Thank you,
Freedom Lover
I wonder what the Q people will make of the use of the word "Embers"?
Disregard the "Q" reference. I agree Trump is the most transparent president we have ever had in our lifetimes... But I also know he is very smart and strategic. Don't you see how Trump and his team are kind of ramping things up for the offensive?
then put pressure on these governors to not "pause" because of "embers" and to move faster reopening and get rid of the damn masks!
These dummies really thought staying inside a little extra for 2 months was gonna make a virus disappear
ZOMG he's going to PUT OUT flare ups!!! He's talking about KILLING infected people to stop the spread!!! Quick contact CNN!
