Yeah somehow all the worst states are now the republican southern states and not the shitholes where people are gathering en mass, only wearing masks to hide their identity. Somehow the virus is smart enough to leave protestors alone, but all those people going to the beach are doomed! Not buying it.
Something happened almost 2 weeks ago in my neck of the woods... Let me explain:
I live in a blue area in a red state. I work on the outskirts of town. On my way to work, in an abandoned shopping center they set up a rapid response covid testing. For weeks it would have 3 to 4 cars there whenever I would drive by. I thought, awesome, if I ever think I have it I'll run by. Well after weeks of near empty parking, something changed last Monday. On Monday the parking lot was half full all of a sudden. The next day the whole lot was packed. After that the line went into the street. Then the line would be into the street by 6:50am and then be backed up for blocks.
I would ask around wtf is going on? Are huge companies demanding their employees take the test to get back to work? Nope. Some how some people got the word to get as many tested as they could, and suddenly. It was strange. Still happening.
