Yes! I want one for literature. I stopped reading anything made after 2010. It was just too much crap. Books are praised with five stars. They'll win awards and acclaim. So, I'll read them and they are horrible. I don't just mean ideological either. I mean story structure, sentence structure, it's just terrible writing all around. Invariably the swj stuff will come through, and I'll say, "there it is, that's why this shit was praised." It fucking pisses me off.

That shit is going on in the movies and video game industry too. It's ridiculous.

It's also hilarious when sites have both curated scores and audience scores. The newest sjw shitfest comes out and all the professional critics give it 10/10 and gush over it. Then the audience just shits on it and everyone gets a good laugh as we get to see their illusion shattered by the reality of what everyone really thinks of it.

I agree! I hate saying things like, “Book these days are so bad compared to the ones of the past” because that’s not how literature works, lol, but modern books bug me a lot. The most praised books are always the ones with the most random plots, the most intentional lack of grammar or neglect of syntax to make a point...Idk, seems like people are more interested in sjw-approved books than good storytelling. Everyone wants to be edgy. Same goes for movies, come to think of it

I agree! I love to stick with old stuff! The newer stuff is often overrated. About the newest thing I enjoy would be Patrick Conroy, because my dad was also a Marine and we have Carolina roots.

Certainly one could learn how to build things, how to be a better parent, or learn a trade through reading books, no?
