Time is nonlinear. The current is the past but is also the future. All of existence has already come and gone yet is happening all at the same time. Man controls nothing but what he thinks, while God’s will is infinite. If I were tech savvy I’d say we live in a simulation. Have faith, it’s in His hands.
If you consider that time is the 4th dimension, and we're just 3rd dimensional beings moving forward through it, then yeah, that's absolutely true. God, Who exists outside of time can move through it and tweak it however He sees fit. Much in the same way you, as a 3rd dimensional being can move through depth where a 2D drawing can't.
There is zero philosophical difference between "The universe is a creation" and "The universe is a simulation."
There is zero philosophical difference between "God created the Universe" and "The Universe as we know it was created by an intelligence greater than us."
There is zero logical difference between "This is proof the universe is a simulation" and "This is proof the universe was created."
It has to be the most idiotic and nonsensical thing the Atheists have latched onto since Gnosticism. "The universe exists only in my own mind, none of you are real."
If the universe as we know it is a simulation, then it's creator would be God.
If God created the universe as we know it from nothing, than it is a "simulation" of something that didn't previously exist.

You are selling this idea short. I drew a lot of wisdom from this realization in my younger years. The fact that your own existence is an irreducible certainty in a world of vague approximations is the ultimate argument for individuality, and leads into the realization that anything which arbitrarily seeks to limit your autonomy is evil. It inoculated me from many pathological ideologies in my youth.
It's complex, but if you're interested, I'd suggest reading Gopi Krisha's book, "Kundalini, the Evolutionary Energy in Man."
He experiences enlightenment, oneness, and describes the changes that took place in his nervous system. His brain changed. His perception of everything as well.
He said he believed that this energy has always been there and is designed to uplift humanity when we tap into it.
Kundalini is fire. Traditionally it's described as a coiled in the bottom of the spine until it uncoils and moves up, preferably all the way to the top of the brain. It's also sometimes referred to as shakti.
Now, John the Baptist said that someone was coming after him, who would baptize with fire and the Holy Spirit.
That's Christ, Kundalini master.
The next level: we are supposed to become Christ. We will be saints, living in bliss, full of love, able to see God clearly, heal the sick, raise the dead, be seen in two places at once, walk on water...
Christ said everything he did, we can do.
That's the next level of humanity.
Christ's return within us.
And that is why they hate Christians. Because Christ is that direct line to God, to restructuring our nervous systems, to reorganizing our brains.
Will we get a new layer of brain? I don't know. Maybe we'll get a neo-neocortex.

I have the view that since the 4th dimension is temporal, it's the natural barrier to higher dimensions, i.e. the Gates of Time/ Pearly Gates

To honor God in all your works, in your home and to eschew evil and raise kids as they aught to be raised which is with love and discipline.
My own beliefs and you do not have to agree with them:
WE are God, sparks of God, manifesting as us.
We are God's little game, His amusement. Like when we go to the movies and temporarily forget it's a film.

The purpose of life is to return to God -- all the little sparks He has sent down gather their information and return.
God is not a guy sitting on a cloud. God is not Jehovah.
God is everything, greater than everything. God is infinity. God is too great for us to grasp.
And Christ is our guide to the next level of humanity. Like a software upgrade.
Christ was a kundalini master. No reason to fear kundalini; Christ used that power himself. Just let Christ guide you, not someone outside of Christ.
The kundalini energy is the electrical catalyst that helps us return to God. It is a physical energy, not metaphysical.
By return, I don't mean death. I mean spiritual enlightenment; heaven on earth. Oneness.
