You have no idea the amount of trash from NY and NJ that's moving here. I just sold my house in Raleigh to one. I don't get it, they flood from one city to the next like locusts, leaving one ruined husk after another.

I'm in small town USA, NC aka Fayetteville. If it wasn't for all of the retired military folks here, this place would be just as bad. We have this one bitch that is on a major intersection every week with a "Fuck Trump" sign. It's disgusting.

this. the people fleeing from up north are moving here and turning this state into the same place they just left. we have a whole community on the coast that's called little jersey because of how many new jersey transplants live there.

Even more than the politics it's just the rudeness and "Fuck You for trying" attitude that comes with them. We lived in a small community for almost 10 years before we really started seeing a huge influx of these people and we never had problems. There is just zero sense of civic duty or community with these jackals. Our house sat at a stop sign on a sleepy little road off of a cul de sac, and without fail, these asshats would just blow through that stop sign at 20 mph over the speed limit like they just had some kind of special pass. I went Garp on one after we tried everything to get her to slow the hell down and damned if she didn't sick the HOA on me. Garbage humans.

and complain about how we do things down here. Like, seriously, why the heck did you move south if you hate it so much. We move a little slower down here, we take our time, we enjoy life, we aren't always in a rush to get somewhere. I think if they could just learn to slow down, sit on the front porch and sip some sweet iced tea with the neighbors they might be happier and more bearable. One thing for certain, if you're going to move down south you need to get over any pretentiousness. Get the hell over it or get out.

I've lived in both and here's what I'll say about that. Sure we seem to move slower down here, but go ahead and try to get anything done up there. Compare how long it takes to get a house built/remodeled/etc. up North vs down South and tell me we're slower in the South. Down South you'll finish any project literally years ahead of the exact same project at a fraction of the cost.
