Hey, pedes. I've been thinking about how we could ensure the integrity of not only the upcoming election but also every election going forward. My first thought was that each state/county/parish should provide some sort of electronic spreadsheet at the end of the election that shows everyone who voted and who they voted for. The total of all people on the spreadsheet should equal the total votes being alleged. You could find your name and see the person you voted for next to your name. Then I realized that is a bad idea, because people value the privacy about who they voted for. Then I thought you could replace the names with numbers. You would get a "receipt" with a unique number on it. The numbers would be sequential, so there would be no duplicates. Then you could find your number on the spreadsheet with who that number voted for next to it. That would give you assurance that the person you voted for is being taken into account. While that ensures completeness, that all votes are included, it would not ensure existence, that all people who "voted" actually exist. Any thoughts on how the system could address that all votes included are from people who actually exist?

We all need to volunteer to work the polls on election day.
Indeed. The more people monitoring the voting process would reduce the possibility of collusion to rig the election.
