Separation can't happen peacefully. I've thought this through. Ds have no stronghold State. Even CA and NY are red except for small urban areas.

I'd be ok with reducing US population to 165 million overnight, but it would never come to that. Knock off a few million and the rest would suddenly see the light.

secession also won't happen because it makes zero sense from a strategic POV to hand over mainland territory right next door to your sworn enemies and have a shared border with them, on top of just giving them all our west coast coastal access and military infrastructure... and deserting American citizens and patriots behind enemy lines... and the fact that it would make GEOTUS the only president in history to give up a portion of our mainland to an enemy. Nice legacy, won't happen.

“deserting American citizens and patriots behind enemy lines”

That possibility itself would blur the fighting lines. People like me behind enemy lines would be put in an odd position. My natural enemy would be leftist thugs, but if the right was fighting to separate the nation, I would find myself having to fight them instead, and figure out what to do about the leftist thugs afterwards.

I’m not leaving my home in the PNW, and I’m not going to be kicked out of my own country. This is not negotiable.

No. Like I said, this is not negotiable. I won’t stand by while someone tries to rip my country in half, and I don’t care which side they are on, left or right.
