We need to. We are in the early stages of a full blown communist uprising. But give them a hard objective that will fix everything and they will never stop. In Chile the constitution was written under Pinochet, but was reformed at many times over the years. In the USA, the left will push the narrative that the constitution is racist because those who wrote it were all white slave owners. Once that is established, they will offer the solution. Phase 3: Destruction of law and order.
Use the media and politicians to convince the population that ANY (yes any) kind of violence toward protesters is illegitimate and a violation of human rights
Question and then ban the use of lethal equipment and force to keep peace
Question and then ban the use of non-lethal equipment
At this point they have essentially banned all military and police from keeping peace

Phase 4: Extortion

We need to. We are in the early stages of a full blown communist uprising. They are in a minority but they use race as a shield so it's difficult to refute them because you'll get canceled or assaulted. Get a group of responsible armed citizens together and be ready to go out in the streets and make it clear to these people that we're not going to back down. The Government is stuck between a rock and a hard place. They can't put an end to this shit unless they feel that the majority of the people are with them. Make it clear that ending this isn't about racism, it's about peace. If people call you a nazi or a racist or whatever or act like you're against them, use the script I posted to refute them. Remember that a tiny, tiny minority of these people are actually communists and want a full blown revolution or civil war. The vast majority of people involved in the protests have good intentions that are being manipulated. They will go with the flow all the way through the lynchings and the destruction because everyone is going to tell them they're the good guys.
Point out to people you know who are willing to listen how communist revolutions always follow a similar pattern. This is the most important part, because the more people who know this, the more people will see it happening. For example, in Chile just last year:
Phase 0: Indoctrination and fabrication of the narrative
The young and stupid will be the cannon fodder, a demoralized political opposition will not talk or take action out of fear of further exacerbation, facts will be ignored and the non-rich will demand redistribution of wealth from the rich. Sending the police and/or military to control the attacks gets automatic disapproval from the middle class because of the media coverage.
We are exiting phase 0 and starting phase 1 currently. Luckily the Military is still in tact and not seen as an enemy, so far. Every other move has succeeded.
Phase 1: Initial attack - destruction of the lower/middle class life.
BLM and Antifa are glorified in the media and celebrities are taking pride in bailing looters. The destruction and overall lowering of quality of life is necessary for a future Phase.
Phase 2: The demands
This phase is short, but it's the tip of the spear when we talk about the common protester. You just can't convince the average person to protest with all their time for arbitrary causes. But give them a hard objective that will fix everything and they will never stop. In Chile the constitution was written under Pinochet, but was reformed at many times over the years. The last time it was reformed, leftists celebrated that they finally had a constitution for all the people And yet, here we are. In the USA, the left will push the narrative that the constitution is racist because those who wrote it were all white slave owners. Once that is established, they will offer the solution. Goodbye freedom and liberty in every form.
Phase 3: Destruction of law and order.
Organization of human rights watch and others are key here. In Chile, they were shameless agents of supervention. Only registering police brutality and ignoring the literal burning of whole cities. Thankfully, Trump does good work exposing fake news.
Phase 4: Extortion
You may think that it's all over on this point, but that's not the case. They only achieved a date where the constitution would be discarded or not. The left will be very aggressive with this campaign though.
Phase 5: Propaganda
This is where Chile is right now. At the end of phase 5 with Antifa lynching anyone who hasn't kneeled. People know they were used to destroy their own country, but can't speak out because they will be murdered or sent to the gulag. If it follows the historical course of other communist uprisings, once the new constitution is drafted and codified into law, the re-education camps, mass imprisonments, the starvation, homelessness, and poverty will ramp up. The leadership of the leftists will purge the ranks of everyone who helped them get there so that anyone below them who had any kind of power or respect from the people can't challenge them. They'll replace those competent leaders with incompetent loyalists who will drive the country down and even further spiral of suffering and despair. This is the exact same formula every communist revolution in the past 100 years has followed.
And, for anyone who actually read all that and made it this far, if for one second you thought "That can never happen in America" for any reason, ask yourself if you think Chileans felt that way? Venezuelans? Cubans, Russians, Vietnamese, Koreans, Chinese. I'm sure the vast majority of the population felt that it could never happen to them. Or by negotiating and giving ground you could solve things diplomatically. This is false. Communism is about total control, all or nothing and they will never stop coming. Giving ground anywhere is giving ground everywhere.

Believe it or not, I'm still (Windows 10) using by-computer-standards prehistoric Microsoft Picture It, an XP program that came with a box of the OEM goodies on my circa 2000 Dell desktop (gotta 'trick' the OS into accepting it - compatibility mode doesn't work but there are tricks). I've got the carpe donktum imagination just not the $$$$ for high-brow Adobe Photoshop and all its iterations (CC, Elements, etc) and some of those enhancement/rendering programs (sampled Sony Vegas and others over the years) damn near require a PhD to figure out all the details. And to top everything off, am using a spare laptop for the last couple of weeks as my main W10 desktop died without warning with 7 years of meticulously-arranged software, fonts, et al on it (hopefully this CA data recovery place has it properly cloned - will see when it's FedEx'd back next week).
