Nah- the card market of the 80's-90's is complete shit. Even Rookie cards. They mass produced them (shitty overall design/quality). And people learned to take care of them- a lot of the old card were mass produced as well. It's just that kids treated them like shit or many were thrown out and or lost to history.

There are some 90's baseball cards worth a shit but it depends on the manufacturer and rarity- having it PSA graded 9+ helps as well.

The 80's baseball card market is almost complete shit. Many cards were worth more 30 to 40 years ago than they worth today-- examples: Don Mattingly (R- Topps and Donruss), Darryl Strawberry (R- Topps 1983 Traded Set), Ken Griffey Jr (R- Upperdeck 1989). Unfortunately, the list goes on.

The only Pucket that is really valuable and it has to grade out atleast PSA 9 is an 84 Fleer Update set rookie card. The set itself is fairly rare and thus why the card in the right condition can be worth $140-$375 (Beckett pricing).

The Fleer Update set itself is worth a pretty penny. One of the few baseball card sets from the 80's to climb in value.
