I think that was the beginning of the end for models. Before that, they had the "supermodels" and some people were like "bah, too thin, impossible standards of beauty." Then the modeling houses were like "I'll show YOU too thin!" and we got heroin chic. After that the pendulum swung in the other direction and we got fat models. What followed what a crazy optics fest, culminating in this.
